Mardi Gras mystery tour
If you fancy something different this Mardi Gras season, you can always check out the unique workshop tour and gallery visit, The Mardi Gras Magical Mystery Tour on Tuesday, March 1.
Presented by Points of Difference Events in partnership with New Mardi Gras, the tour offers a unique insight into Mardi Gras with up-close-and-personal visits to two visual arts events and a lunch that promises to be the gayest on this side of Oxford Street.
Guests are transported late Tuesday morning from Taylor Square to the Mardi Gras Workshop. There they are initiated into the secrets behind the worlds biggest and best gay parade.
From there, they will be whisked to Depot Gallery, showcasing Ross Watson’s new internationally released book, “Untitled #”, and the recent paintings and photography included in it. Then onto the gorgeous Winery, Crown Street for lunch, all included in the price.

Support the Star Observer… while you still can
LGBTQIA+ media is under threat. Queer content is censored by tech conglomerates who amplify bigotry and push out AI slop — so we receive less financial support than ever.
When our community is muzzled and intolerance intensifies, we need queer media more than ever. Your donation means we can continue paying queer journalists to write queer news.
Don’t rely on the straight lies of big tech – support Star Observer instead and donate now.
