It’s Betty’s Turn @ Manacle is a chance to relive, revive, re-create or experience for the first time a great girls’ night in the suburb that was once the beating heart of lesbian Sydney.
The brainchild of Simone Gallo and Emma Molloy, It’s Betty’s Turn will transform The Clarence Hotel from leatherman haunt Manacle to poptastic lezbo playpen.
We wanted something that all sorts of lezzos could enjoy in the west,” Molloy said. Manacle is a great bar and the staff at the Clarence are really excited about it. I am particularly looking forward to climbing up the chain spiderweb after a few too many drinks. We will play people’s requests if they post them on our Facebook event wall.
We basically want girls of all sorts to come, get their drink on and party like they are on an Olivia cruise with Sam, Lindsay, KD, JD, Gia, Rosie, Carmen and Shane.”
