Another calendar to help raise awareness for testicular and prostate cancer

RUGGED naked men photographed tastefully in a calendar always seems to be a winning combination for an organisation raising money and awareness for cancer.

Especially testicular and prostate cancer among men.

While the money raised goes to research in the UK, any advancement in research around the globe helps countless men who are diagnosed each year.

Testicular cancer is the most common cancer amongst men aged 16-30 but most men don’t even think to check themselves, and like women who are advised to get regular cervical checks, men over 40 should have regular prostate checks also. However, most don’t know or are too embarrassed to do so.

Through sales of this calendar, photographer Russell Hughes told the Star Observer that he hoped to change the mindset of men not going to get checked for testicular and prostate cancer and raise awareness all around the globe.
