The restaurant’s extensive list of wines by the glass are a real standout, along with those who wish to make dangerous friends with whole bottles. And the staff certainly know their stuff.

From the outside along one of Brisbane’s best culinary streets, Anise appears so unassuming and almost blink-and-you’ll-miss-it-able — experiencing the quality of cuisine being served up inside almost feels like its your own little secret.
