Travel with a point of difference
Points of Difference Events, producers of gorgeous gay social events, announce two fresh and fruity events, coupled like fire and ice.
The annual Frosty Fruits Ski Trip returns for 2011. Held at Hotham Alpine Resort on August 18-21, this event is Australia’s gay and lesbian (short) ski week with direct flights from Sydney and Melbourne.
The stunning on-mountain accommodation will leave you breathless and, with more 27 hours of snow time over four fun, frosty days, you’re sure to get your fair share of powder.
Joining the Frosty Fruits Ski Trip on the gay calendar this year will be a brother event, the new Island Fruits Tropical Retreat.
An all-inclusive French-primitive-chic gay and lesbian yoga and meditation retreat, it will run October 18-24 on the private island of Ratua in gorgeous Vanuatu.
The trip is a partnership between Points of Difference Events and the very sexy instructors at Yoga BC, and is presented by Gaydar.
You’ll get to experience and enjoy Deepak Chopra’s seven spiritual laws of yoga with certified and primordial sound meditation qualified instructors. And beginners fear not, you’ll be as warmly welcomed as the more seasoned yoga practitioner.
Both events form part of the ever-growing Points of Difference on-going calendar of gay social events, including dinners, theatre outings and the Murder Mystery In The Museum.

Support the Star Observer… while you still can
LGBTQIA+ media is under threat. Queer content is censored by tech conglomerates who amplify bigotry and push out AI slop — so we receive less financial support than ever.
When our community is muzzled and intolerance intensifies, we need queer media more than ever. Your donation means we can continue paying queer journalists to write queer news.
Don’t rely on the straight lies of big tech – support Star Observer instead and donate now.
