Author, artist, erotic educator and shaman are a lot of hats to juggle, but US ‘gender adventurer’ Lee Harrington manages to wear them all with aplomb.

Entertaining and educating people about erotic self-discovery, Harrington will return to Melbourne and Sydney after a two-year absence to inspire audiences in a series of workshops and a one-night only performance.

Harrington is Down Under as part of the ALSO Foundation’s Take Care Out There sexual health project and will conduct 14 intriguing workshops on alternative sexuality and ‘stimulating’ practices in a safe way.

In 2006 Harrington performed at Sydney Leather Pride, Sydney’s Club Hellfire and Melbourne’s Hellfire: Resurrection. In 2007 he taught classes in Australia under his former name, Bridgett Harrington.

Harrington, who has been part of the international sex positive community since the mid ’90s, will explore the art of erotic rope play, kama sutra bondage, alternative relationships, leather play and the pleasures of pain.

A fan of centre stage, Harrington will also perform in Lee tells his story at Gasworks Art Park in Melbourne on November 27.

Workshops will be held at Birthing Rites, Bondi Junction, from December 4 – 6.
