AbFab take on the London Olympics
Absolutely Fabulous will be back with a new special for the London Olympics after its triumphant reunion at Christmas.
It’s the final installment of the show’s three-part 20th anniversary celebration.
The BBC announced the Olympics episode in May and now we have our first look at how Patsy and Eddy will be marking the milestone.
The episode synopsis reveals that Eddy has rented out her house to a Hollywood A-lister during the Games, but is still living in it, as is Saffie, her mother and Bubble. Then to add to her depression Bo and Marshall – her ex-husband (Chris Ryan) and his US girlfriend (Mo Gaffney) – arrive to stay for the Games also.
The special will also see Patsy and Eddy inside the Olympic stadium, crashing a reception for the likes of Dame Tanni Grey Thompson, Dame Kelly Holmes, and Stella McCartney.
It will air on ABC1 on July 25 at 8pm.
