Avril learns to smile
A couple of days after dropping a behind-the-scenes preview, Avril Lavigne has unveiled the finished version of her Smile video.
Already a top 30 hit in Australia, the song should continue to climb with the release of the cute clip.
It’s a fairly straightforward concept – with the Canadian rocker walking the streets, putting pieces of a plastic broken heart back together – but it works and shows Avril’s softer side. And her new laid back image seems to be working.
Goodbye Lullaby reached number one in Australia and its lead single What The Hell was a double platinum top 10 hit.
