Cinderella, Ke$ha style

Global pop phenomenon Ke$ha has debuted her own interpretation of Disney’s Cinderella on the satirical website Funny or Die.

The clip begins innocently enough with the 23-year-old being woken up by cute animated birds but things get decidedly ‘sick and sexified’ when the diva decides to give herself a makeover and bust out of her fairytale castle with a little help from a bunch of feral animated characters known as the ‘glitter crew’.

Highlights include the (in retrospect, quite obvious) explanation of the pop star’s trademark face glitter, a perverted crow and her unique mode of transportation.

Ke$ha’s fairytale is a lot of fun and provides further proof that she is, most definitely, in on the joke.

Watch the video (below) and try to grab a ticket to one of her upcoming Australian gigs before they sell out, just in case the rumours she will be performing at this year’s Mardi Gras party are not true!
