ONE of the biggest pop stars of the 80s, Cyndi Lauper, has launched a new project designing a line of sneakers with the money raised benefit LGBTI homeless youth.

The True Colours Shoe Collection was announced on her Facebook page and is in partnership with social entrepreneurship company, Make A Difference Every Day.

Why shoes? The Time After Time singer told fashionmagazine.com that “everybody else sells vitamin water or something. I don’t know anything about vitamin water, but I do like shoes”.
