Derulo debuts new video

Jason Derulo unveiled the music video for his new single Don’t Wanna Go Home, which heavily samples ’90s house classic Show Me Love.

It is the first taste of his highly anticipated sophomore album Future History.

“This record is completely different from the last,” the pop star told Rap Up. “The first single is very upbeat, very in-your-face, very feel good ’cause I wanted to have that real feel-good record.

“I felt like there was a lot of turmoil in the world, a lot of pain in the world, and I wanted to do my part in aiding.”

As for the video, Jason spends most of it dancing around an abandoned warehouse with a group of lady friends.

“Basically, [it’s] not about going to the club, [it’s about] never leaving the club,” Jason told Billboard when asked to describe the clip.

Don’t Wanna Go Home is already top 10 on Australian iTunes and look set to be another smash hit for the Watcha Say singer.
