Jackie O under fire for ‘lez’ slur

Radio host Jackie O has come under fire for derogatory remarks made on her 2DayFM breakfast show.

While discussing middle names during the Kyle and Jackie O Show yesterday, the host said she didn’t like her middle name, Ellen, because it “sounds a bit lez”.

The popular breakfast program, which Jackie O co-hosts with Kyle Sandilands, has had a rough few months, with controversial comments from Sandilands causing a flood of complaints and withdrawal by advertisers.

Earlier this week, weight loss firm Jenny Craig confirmed it would no longer advertise during the program in light of complaints about Sandilands.
