Mardi Gras rumour mill ramping up
SOCIAL media is in a buzz with speculation of who else will headline the official Mardi Gras party in just over a weeks time.
The Star Observer understands there are rumours of performances from Lady Gaga, although it is only confirmed she will in Australia during her tour in August.
Rumours of whether Kylie Minogue and the other judges of The Voice Australia will have their own float has also gained momentum, as well as New York Pride 2013’s headlining performer Cher – possibly joining her son Chaz Bono who is currently in Australia for the Mardi Gras season.
Other celebrity rumours include Robbie Williams who just flew into Australia, although it is understood he will he will be flying out of the country this weekend, and Macklemore, who is touring the country for Future Music festival and will be in Brisbane on the night of Mardi Gras.
Another rumoured headliner is Dolly Parton, who’s Australian tour ends on February 27, just days before the Mardi Gras Parade and Party night but months before she due to start the next leg of her world tour.
