Relay company cover Ke$ha
American pop/rock band The Relay Company has unveiled an unexpected cover of Ke$ha’s gay anthem We R Who We R.
Their version stays pretty close to the original – albeit with a few minor changes.
The boys change “I’ve got that glitter
on my eyes” to “your eyes” and “hitting on dudes hard” to “hitting on dudes – not”.
They do, however, pay homage to Ke$ha by wearing some sparkly eye make-up in the video (below).
Further proof – if nothing else – of the trashtastic star’s recent impact on pop culture.
