Spin-off for Silver Stiletto
The Queensland-based creator of an award-winning short film about a vigilante drag queen is hoping to build upon its success with the launch a new spin-off series for TV.
Silver Stiletto received the Selector’s Choice Award at this year’s Melbourne Queer Film Festival and an Audience Award at the Mardi Gras Film Festival.
Writer/producer Craig Rossiter is currently in the process of raising funds for the spin-off series, called The Jiniri, which will tell the story of a drag queen and bartender who are the willing subjects in a new drug trial which gives them special powers.
INFO: Rossiter has set up a crowd-funding site for the project and contributions to the series can be made here.
