Prepare yourself for an intimate documentary examining the life of actor and LGBTI activist George Takei.
Takei, who in his own words describes himself as the person who “was the best helmsman in the galaxy” and singlehandedly “put to rest all that stereotype about Asian drivers”, stars along side his husband Brad in the upcoming film.
In cinemas across the US on August 22, the documentary recounts Takei’s life from his childhood in a camp for Japanese Americans, to living as a closeted homosexual, through to acting in the Star Trek movies and his rise as an internet celebrity with over seven million Facebook fans.
