DIVA dolls find a home on YouTube
The drag industry’s night of nights, the DIVA Awards, now has its own dedicated YouTube channel. Penny Clifford has compiled more than 100 clips from the late 1990s to today, covering DIVA shows, classic nightclub performances and drag TV appearances. “It’s been a job of love, archiving and uploading the history of Sydney drag and the DIVA Awards,” Clifford said. “Now that more than 100 videos — with many more to come — are online, the past will be preserved for future generations.”
