If you’re at a loose end this weekend it may not be too late to get down and dirty at Turtle Cove’s Full Moon Party.

One of Sydney’s hottest DJs, Dan Murphy will be on hand for the event on Saturday, September 10, to spin tracks under the stars at the tropical LGBTI paradise, while guests get to dance the night away on the soft, warm sand.

The night kicks off with a 6.30pm barbeque before Murphy will hit the decks and pump all the hottest hits, gay anthems and whatever it takes to get the party cranking until 2am.
In addition there’ll be drink specials – thanks to 42 Below Vodka – to ensure a great time will be had by all.

Even better, a free weekend of accommodation will be awarded to the best dancer, as judged by the resort’s hot bar staff.

For more than a decade Turtle Cove has been one of the more popular recovery zones, so much so that the resort — which is a 40-minute drive north of Cairns — puts together a week of recovery events to cater for the vast numbers of people seeking to wash off the glitter in the surf.

“Turtle Cove attracts people to the recovery party because of its beachfront location, spectacular weather and friendly atmosphere,” resort marketing manager Jacob Banks said.
“You can either continue to party on or just laze by the pool, relax and recharge your batteries, the choice is yours.”

Turtle Cove is ideally located for those wanting a tropical north Queensland experience. It is close to Cairns, the Daintree rainforest and the Great Barrier Reef.
