The Melbourne Leather Pride Fair Day has been cancelled. The Star Observer was notified this afternoon the Fair Day would not go ahead.

MLP organiser Alex Schoeffel said he was disappointed to cancel one of the festival’s key events but said there was no other option.

“We just didn’t have enough lead up time and we have so many other events going on in the festival we thought we’d rather focus on the ones we have.”

The Fair Day was due to be held on Sunday, April 17 in Henry Street, Abbotsford, alongside the Laird Hotel.
