Mobin Master – Get Lucky

There’s a slightly perfunctory feel to some of the songs on Aussie DJ Mobin Master’s debut album – take the opening two tracks, for instance: faithful takes on Robin S’ Show Me Love and Livin’ Joy’s Don’t Stop Movin’. Both early ‘90s dance classics, and both reproduced by master note-for-note (and capably sung by Karina Chavez), with only the slightest of 21st century reworks. Mobin is more successful when helming his own material, like the smooth Get Away With It.
