Kitty to make Summer Gay Day purr

In less than a month’s time Summer Gay Day will be skyrocketing on to the gay calendar and the fabulous Kitty Glitter will be one of the star DJs in the Summer Camp pavilion.
The event kicks off at noon on Saturday 1 December around the Kippax Lake in Moore Park.
“In this pavilion I won’t be playing the typical doof-doof dance music,” Glitter said.
“I’m playing quirky, fun, camp stuff from musicals as well as music from the 60s, 70s and 80s. We are catering to all sorts of people and giving them options.”
Alongside Glitter will be DJ Dan Murphy and the venue will be hosted by Izzy and Mitzi Macintosh.
There’s also live entertainment by Jackie Loeb, Aunty Mavis, the Hoopaholics, Jody Ekert, Tammy Ingram, D-Vinyl and the Homotones.
“Summer Gay Day is a wild thing and I hope it goes off and have no doubt that it will,” Glitter said.
“It’s different because it’s an all-day party – I’m surprised it hasn’t happened before.”
As well as her DJ stint, Glitter said she would be giving the crowds a special solo that she promises will be “unique and sexy”.
Second release tickets for Summer Gay Day are $89 each. Bookings and details: www.summergayday.com.au.
