Moving for AIDS

To coincide with World AIDS Day on Friday 1 December, Australian snapper James Houston is holding the photography exhibition Move For AIDS at Westfield Bondi Junction from 1 to 18 December. It will feature images of professional dancers in full flight from Houston’s latest book, Move. Sarah Murdoch will officially launch the exhibition with a fundraising event on 30 November at Deutsche Bank Place, featuring performances by dancers from The Australian Ballet, Sydney Dance Company, Bangarra Dance Theatre and Legs On The Wall. The photography exhibition has already been held in New York where it was launched by Hugh Jackman, and in London where it was launched by Elle McPherson. Ticket sales from the launch, plus a percentage of sales from the book and photos from the exhibition, will be donated to AIDS charities around the world, including The AIDS Trust of Australia.
