We all loved the hit television show Shameless and its creators have decided to make a nine-part series called Skins, which premiered last Monday night on SBS.

Forget The O.C. and 90210 because this British show gives a new name to bad behaviour. The show follows the lives of a group of wild teenagers in Bristol, England, who get high and party whilst dealing with adolescent angst and searching for their place in society.

The series allows the audience to step into the skin of each of the nine complex characters and share their thoughts, feelings and fears about the future.

Each weekly episode focuses on one of the nine key teenage characters and is a mixture of humorous, heart-breaking and sometimes shocking stories.

Skins will appear every Monday night at 10pm on SBS.
