Sleaze line-up announced

New Mardi Gras has announced more details of its line-up for Sleaze Ball on October 3.
Paul Goodyear, Greg Boladian, Mandy Rollins, Feisty and Sveta will join Scissor Sisters tour DJ Sammy Jo for this year’s party. Further DJs will be announced in coming weeks.

Well known to Sydneysiders, Goodyear is a rising star on the international circuit. Based in London, he travels extensively and played in Madrid, Amsterdam, Los Angeles and Rio this year before headlining San Francisco’s Gay Pride.

For more than a decade DJ Greg Boladian has delivered his energetic style of vocal house to dancefloors around town. More recently he’s been honing his musicality, and he’ll be unleashing some of his blazing remixes at Sleaze Ball.

DJ Feisty delivers solid, polished quality. Known for her long association with Sydney’s premier Underground venue Phoenix and a veteran of some of Australia’s largest dance parties, Feisty is one of Australia’s most popular tribal-tech DJs.

Dirty and Extra Dirty promoter and resident DJ, Mandy Rollins, is a 13-year veteran of the Sydney club scene. She has played to crowds upwards of 25,000 at past Mardi Gras, Sleaze Balls and Inquisition, on top of weekly residencies both locally and internationally. Mandy’s sound? Tribal, raw and sexy!

Russian-born, Sydney-based Sveta is widely known in Australia for her unforgettable and explosive Mardi Gras sets. Featuring a diverse and eclectic range of funky, twisted, deep and dirty grooves, her sets range across electro, electro clash, rock, lounge, vocal house, deep-tribal house, funky tech-house, progressive house and techno.
This is a great line-up and we’re confident that we’ll satisfy those looking for a darker sound at Sleaze Ball and those seeking a lighter, more commercial experience, said NMG chair David Imrie.
Tickets are selling really well and we expect the first release to sell out by the end of next week. The theme has obviously captured people’s imagination and now they know the DJ line-up I expect sales to go as fast as a Swans grand final.
