Bimbo Jones for Mardi Gras

Bimbo Jones for Mardi Gras

New Mardi Gras (NMG) this week announced further details of its line-up for the Mardi Gras Party, including the addition of top DJ Bimbo Jones to the bill. Jones – real name Lee Dagger – will join French superstar DJ David Guetta in the Royal Hall of Industries (RHI).
It was Jone’s November 2008 tour of Australia, including a very well received night at Arq, that brought him to the attention of NMG as a great fit for the RHI.
Since forming Bimbo Jones with musical partner Marc JB, Dagger has provided hit remixes for the likes of The Killers, Usher, Pink, Britney Spears, and Annie Lennox. Together Bimbo Jones share more than 30 club chart #1’s in the UK and US alone.
Also announced this week for the party were Dan Murphy, Jake Kilby, Alan Thompson, Mark Murphy, Sveta, Mandy Rollins, Ben Drayton, GI Jode and Steve Sonius. The full DJ line-up will be announced in January.
“The RHI is going to be hosting not one, but two veritable hit machines this Mardi Gras,” said NMG CEO Anna McInerney. “We will have more to say about the Hordern at a later stage. Suffice is to say we’re not going to be letting the fans of progressive house down in 2010.”
