Outgames earlybirds closing

There are fewer than three weeks left to take advantage of earlybird fees for the 2nd AsiaPacific Outgames in Wellington, New Zealand.

Participation fees for all sports go up after October 31. Applicants are encouraged to get in soon, with considerable savings on certain sports available before that date.

There are two parts to registration — one fee pays for the overall cost of running the Outgames, and this gives participants benefits such as entry to the opening ceremony. Then there are specific fees for each sport, and for the conference.

Hundreds of people representing seven countries have signed up to the Games so far, with numbers in some sports running well ahead of forecasts. Athletes are travelling from as far away as Switzerland to attend.
The Outgames conference has a later earlybird cutoff date of November 30. The full conference program is expected to be announced before that date.
