Anglicare Positive Directions

Free and confidential service providing support to people living with HIV throughout Queensland. 2Spirits

A program aimed to improve the sexual health of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander gay men and sistergirls through education, prevention, health promotion and community development activities. Works with Indigenous LGBTI people and those living with HIV, gay men along with their partners and families to explore and develop ways of addressing sexual health issues.

Men4Men

An awareness campaign primarily focused on gay, bisexual and men who have sex

with men to promote safe sex and HIV/ sexually-transmissible infections awareness. Provides direct services including free condoms and lube, event outreach, and social networking.

Gay and Lesbian Welfare Association

A non-profit organisation with a focus on the wellbeing of the LGBTI communities through the operation of the Gay Line and Lesbian line, peer telephone counselling, and services offering advice and support for people living with HIV/AIDS.

Legal Aid

Queenslanders living with HIV or AIDS who are in need of legal service can contact either Queensland Positive People or Queensland Association for Healthy Communities for specialised assistance and referrals.

BRISBANE REGION Testing Point

Free, peer-based testing service for the LGBTI community, providing rapid HIV testing that delivers results in less than 30 minutes. Operated by volunteer staff, doctors and nurses, Testing Point runs every Tuesday night from 6-8pm and just requires a Medicare Card.
