Players needed
More players are needed for Melbourne Rovers FC mens team who are already in training as they shortly head into their winter season.
The Rovers are Victoria’s gay and lesbian soccer club and play for the Yarra Jets in the Men’s State League 5 East and the FFV State League 2.
The games are held at 1pm on Saturday afternoons at Walker St Reserve, Clifton Hill.
Training will run on Tuesday and Thursday night from 7-8.30pm initially but return to just one night by mid-April.
Last month the team played off against RMIT’s football club in a friendly match for the first time.
The Rovers were formed in 2008 and play social matches in the summer as well.
