Winners are grinners
The Glamourhead Sharks, Melbourne’s LGBTI swimming club, have recognised their top swimmers at their annual Golden Goggles awards ceremony held at The Prince Maximilian in Prahran this month.
Swimmers were singled out for outstanding achievements in the last 12 months in the pool.
Winners included (left to right) Sean Polidano for most improved male swimmer, Luke Wallace for most outstanding swimmer, Mark Sendecky for male swimmer of the year, Dane McManus who was
inducted as a life member, Leonie Dodds for open water swimmer and the Russell Knee legends award, Jack Dow for outstanding achievement, Belle Jones for female swimmer of the year, and Russell Knee who was also inducted as as life member.
Robbie Leslie, who was unable to attend the event, won the most improved female swimmer award.
