Women hold court
Queer women’s sporting group Sporty Dykes is not letting winter get in the way of a bit of fun on the (indoor) field.
The girls will meet at the Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre for some friendly matches of badminton on July 17 (from 11.30am) and volleyball on August 28 (from 1.30pm).
It’s not all sweat and tears on the court though. After all the exertion, the sports-lovers meet up for a chat and a bite to eat at Hot Honey cafe in Middle Park. Newcomers welcome.
