Straights reject homophobia

Straight But Not Narrow has released a new video featuring actor Josh Hutcherson discussing the fledgling awareness campaign which attempts to combat homophobia in young straight men.

The young actor is perhaps best known for his supporting role in the Oscar-nominated film The Kids Are All Right.

Web-based campaign Straight But Not Narrow was founded by straight actor Avan Jogia as a way to reach out to young straight men and encourage them to reject homophobia.

The campaign features videos of straight men talking about the importance of being supportive of gay men and taking a stand against homophobia.

Straight But Not Narrow has made significant use of social networking, and has a significant presence and following on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube, along with maintaining its own website.

The website states that more videos are forthcoming.
