ACON – friendship and support

The long holiday weekend has passed and we can look forward to a number of events in the Northern Rivers in coming months.

On June 2, Lismore will host a forum for workers and community called ‘Towards safer relationships in the Northern Rivers’. This half-day workshop will offer presentations by specialist workers in the field of LGBTIQ relationships.

The forum will have suggestions on how to work better with local LGBTIQ people and their families, offer appropriate domestic and family violence support and encourage building safer relationships. Not only will this be a great opportunity to network and ask questions but it will provide strategies and guidance for best practice for domestic and family violence service provision for LGBTIQ clients in the Northern Rivers.

This event is free, includes lunch and refreshments. For more info or to RSVP (by One of the biggest complaints from online casino players is that too many casinos focus on their slot machines. Sydney universities, Parramatta Pride Forum, IDAHO Sydney, Amnesty International LGBTIQ Network, Still Fierce, the Gender Centre, NSW Young Lawyers Human Rights Committee, Queer Student Network, GLRL and Twenty10.
