Rainbow Babies celebrates Fathers Day

Rainbow Babies celebrates Fathers Day

Rainbow Babies is excited to be celebrating all that is involved in creating a rainbow family in conjunction with Fathers Day this September.

It is the first time we have incorporated such a day in our events calendar and it is a chance to welcome all those important people who play a part in creating, raising or caring for our rainbow babies.

What it means to be a rainbow family has changed significantly over the years, and there is no one way of doing this.

We want to recognise and support all manifestations of family and Fathers Day is a good opportunity to appreciate the role that all the kind men have played in enabling the creation of our families.

To some families, it might mean this person taking an active role in the parenting of children as a father or a co-parent. To others it might be that the child may never meet their donor and for other families it might be the involvement of a grandfather or other role model.

In all situations, our children wouldn’t be who they are without the generous contribution of that individual.
