Women ready to serve it up
Amazon Tennis will host a social day at the Cintra Park Tennis Centre this Saturday, March 6.
The event is an extension of the group’s usual social tennis days in which women of all ages and levels can play a social game with other women.
“It’s a great opportunity to introduce tennis to women who have always been keen but never found a group of people to play with, or for women who are keen to get back into tennis,” Amazon Tennis spokeswoman Sandra Lie said.
“The day is scheduled so that individuals will be paired up with people of similar levels and they rotate with different people, allowing them to meet new players. The format will be doubles and the courts we use are synthetic grass.”
Amazon Tennis is asking for players keen to take part to pre-register via its website.
