Simon Burke will launch his debut album, Something About Always, at Civic Cabaret on Monday, February 15.

The album is an intimate recording that allows listeners to experience Burke’s rich, powerful and emotive voice. Something About Always also features two very special guest stars: Connie Fisher and Caroline O’Connor.

“I guess recording your first album is maybe like writing your first novel: you sing what you know,” Burke said.

“These songs have gotten to know me over the years — in and out of character, in cabaret, at Carnegie Hall, from Play School to the Palladium.”

info: Doors open at 7.30pm and entry is $25. Bookings on 132 849 or www.ticketek.com.au
