Time Warp is an events-based group for GLBT people and friends and the next party’s theme is Hawaiian and will be held on Friday, May 28, 7pm-10pm at the Fruit Bowl. May 10-16 is National Volunteer Week. It is said “volunteering changes lives”. You never know, that life could be yours. If you admire an organisation’s works, investigate their volunteer program and become involved. And if you know someone who volunteers, give them a big ‘thank you hug’ — the world is a much better place because of them.
