Mitcham wins gold in Canada

Openly gay Olympian Matthew Mitcham has again dominated the Canada Cup diving championships, taking home another gold medal in the 10-metre event.

The competition in Montreal last weekend was a repeat of Mitcham’s Beijing triumph and saw him earn 541.20 points, including a string of perfect 10s in the third dive, to beat China’s Zhou Luxin (536.80) to the gold.

Mitcham won gold in the 10-metre platform at the championships last year.
