A suffragette love story
It’s London, 1913 and thousands of suffragettes have been jailed for fighting for their right to vote. In an Australian premiere, Her Naked Skin follows Lady Celia Cain who has been imprisoned in Holloway Prison. She also feels caged by her marriage until she meets young seamstress Eve Douglas. The play runs in Melbourne on June 7 – July 8 at the Theatre Husk, Northcote.
