Daylesford’s ChillOut Festival is almost upon us and a range of arts and cultural events have been planned for the rural gay and lesbian festival.

The Can’t Think Straight Gallery, in the centre of Daylesford’s township, will show the work of contemporary visual artist Katarina Widderington-Oliver until March 31 as part of the festivities.

Widderington-Oliver, a recent Victorian College of the Arts graduate, works in mixed media, her bright collage works (pictured) delving into the personal and sometimes political.

An official launch of the exhibition will be held at Can’t Think Straight Gallery on March 11 from 7pm, featuring band Thrippence. The ChillOut Festival runs from March 11 – 14.
