Runaway teens get steamy
Teen queens Kristin Stewart and Dakota Fanning locked in a drug-fuelled lesbian clinch? That’s exactly what the two starlets get up to in The Runaways, screening nationally from July 14. The rock biopic, about the late-’70s all-girl rock group of the same name, stars Fanning as naive lead singer Cherie Currie and Stewart as lesbian rock icon Joan Jett.
