Freezoners serve up New Year’s fun

The Freezone gay and lesbian volleyball club’s recent Motown-themed Christmas Party at the Cleveland Bar was a resounding success, but the festive fun doesn’t end there.

While there’s no Sunday training until January 16, Freezoners will meet at the south end of Maroubra Beach from 11am to 3pm on Sunday January 2 for a New Year beach picnic.

There’ll be volleyball, soccer, swimming and frisbee – BYO picnic lunch.
