New home for Cairns’ same-sex dancing class

Cairns’ same-sex dancing class has moved to a new dance studio at Cairns High.

Now on a Thursday night from 6.30pm-8pm, organisers are talking up the new venue with its proper dance floor and aircon, and are calling for new participants to take part.

All ability levels are welcome for the classes and you don’t have to come as a couple – singles and duos made up of friends can also take part.

Styles include ballroom, latin, jive, rock ‘n roll and some of the new vogue routines.

Classes cost $10 per session and it’s recommend that you wear comfortable clothes and closed, non-marking shoes or just socks or bare feet.
