In case the November issue publishes something on the death of Angela Lansbury: none of the mainstream press has mentioned her role in the television drama based on Colm Toibin’s novel The Blackwater Lightship. In this drama, Lansbury plays the grandmother of a young guy dying of HIV/AIDS. The centre of the drama is the coming together of the women in his family as he goes under. It was a 2004 production with great performances by Dianne Weist and Sam Robards as well. I could write something short for you if you wanted.
