Snap your fetish

There’s only one week left to enter the Sax Fetish and Lucrezia & de Sade fetish photographic competition, with entries closing on September 7. Proudly presented in association with Oz Kink Fest, there’s $2250 in cash and prizes to be won.

All images must incorporate a leather/fetish/kink theme and must feature at least one leather or fetish item — clothing, apparatus, toys or other accoutrements. However, entries will not be accepted where these items recognisably feature any other label or production house. Genuine Sax Fetish or Lucrezia & de Sade products are preferred but not essential.

Entries will also be accepted where the items are generic and not readily identified with any label or brand. The possibilities are virtually endless, so get snapping.

The winning picture will be published in the Sydney Star Observer and Southern Star (at the publisher’s discretion), with a placement valued at $5000. The competition is open to “representations of all sexuality and sexual orientations where photographs include people, persons, individuals or groups”.

In other words, it doesn’t matter if your subject(s) are gay, straight, or sit anywhere else on the LGBTI spectrum — just make sure your entry has that human touch. The first prize winner will receive $500 cash and $1000 worth of product from Sax Fetish or Lucrezia & De Sade. Second prize winner will receive $250 cash and $250 of product, while the third prize will receive $250 of product.

The final date for entries to be received is 7pm on Wednesday, September 7. No further entries will be admitted after that time.
