Alice Springs first taste of Pride
Alice Springs will host its first Pride Carnivale on Saturday June 1, with organisers overwhelmed by the massive amount of interest from performers across Australia. The all-ages event will be free and aims to celebrate sexual and gender diversity across Central Australia. Held at Snow Kenna Park, the Carnivale has been advertised locally from Tennant Creek to the APY lands in north-west South Australia, so organisers are expecting a huge turnout. Headlining drag artists include popular sistergirl Crystal Love, Foxxy Empire and Constantina Bush.
