A reset for The Presets

A reset for The Presets

“Oh we had a merry old time, but merry old times don’t count for nothing” and “far below the shiniest stars, shiniest stars won’t shine for ever”; examples of what The Presets’ new single Ghosts is all about.

The Sydney duo are back and offering more than just a headlining act at Parklife 2012. The new single from their album Pacifica (set to release September 7 via Modular Recordings) offers a contrast to the techno-heavy bass of some of their other songs. As Kim Moyes describes it, it’s like “taking a classic folk style, sea shanty and adding it to an up tempo techno groove” – think Mumford & Sons meets Chris Brown.

Already paying claim to two very successful albums and countless #1 hits, the boys may just have another ARIA headed their way.

The single can be purchased from iTunes.
