Adele readies a third album
Adele is already working on the follow-up to her hugely successful sophomore album.
21 has topped the charts around the world and sold a whopping six million copies since January – with only one official single to promote it. But instead of focusing on her current success, she’s already halfway through album number three.
The English songbird has recorded five songs for the highly anticipated offering and plans to release it in May 2012 to coincide with her 23rd birthday. You know, so she can call it 23.
“I have five tracks ready to go,” she recently told The Sun. “One of them is quite upbeat – a real ‘girl power’ type of song.
“I plan to do a cover of the INXS hit Never Tear Us Apart, which is probably my fave song of all time. The whole album will have quite a live feel to it.”
