AQUA’S taking over (Mardi Gras?)

AQUA’S taking over (Mardi Gras?)

Could two of the ‘90s biggest pop-acts be making an appearance at this years Mardi Gras Party?

DJ Lady Miss Kier of Dee-lite is already billed as a headliner, and with AQUA gearing up for an Australian national tour early around Mardi Gras season, it seems possible that Barbie might come and party …

After suddenly splitting in 2001, Danish bubblegum pop band AQUA will return to Australia for a national promotional tour, early next March, for their newly released album, Megalomania.

Selling more than 33 million albums and singles with hits such as Doctor Jones, Turn Back Time, and the fan-favourite ARIA top ten hit, Barbie Girl, AQUA turned itself into a household name.

And speaking of Mardi Gras Party talent, Jessie J will be floating around as one of the headliners for the FutureMusic Festival 2012, and if Horse Meat Disco can make it, maybe they can share planes.

With only two months to go until the big night and with Sydney Mardi Gras playing all their big cards already, like RuPaul, could it be that they have one, or maybe two cards up their sleave?
