ARIA chart wrap up

ARIA chart wrap up

ARIA has released their first chart update of 2011 and a couple of familiar faces have come out on top.

Inaugural Australian Idol winner Guy Sebastian returns to the top of the singles chart with Who’s That Girl?, while P!nk’s domination of the album chart continues – with her greatest hits collaboration spending its eighth consecutive week in pole position.

In what is generally a slow sales week after NYE celebrations, the album chart remained fairly static.

Bon Jovi’s greatest hits package came in second, followed by X Factor winner Altiyan Childs self-titled debut and Guy Sebastian’s Twenty Ten.

Rounding out the top five is Bruno Mars’ Doo-Wops & Hooligans, which jumps five spots from number 10.

There was a bit more movement on the singles chart.

Enrique’s controversial Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You) (or Fuckin’ You – depending on the version you downloaded) debuts at number three, while American dance diva and rumoured Mardi Gras performer Wynter Gordon jumps nine spots to number five with Dirty Talk (below).

Rounding out the top five are Bruno Mars’ Grenade at number two and Chris Brown’s Yeah x3 at number four.
