Glee star releases solo single

Glee star Matthew Morrison (AKA Mr Schuester) has debuted his debut single Summer Rain on Ryan Seacrest’s radio show.

Unfortunately not a Belinda Carlisle cover, the track is a pared back piece of almost acoustic pop about having sex in the great outdoors.

Think Jack Johnson meets Ben Harper, which is surprising given Matthew’s description of his forthcoming solo set as “a classier Justin Timberlake album”.

“It’s going to be me and a big orchestra, but also with beats,” he said.

The 32-year-old’s album is scheduled for release in May and is believed to include a duet with Elton John.
